For the longest time I only valued the humanities. I guess we are opposite in this regard, however after capitulating to the well-rounded lingo blabbered around the campus at my university, I decided to give the physical sciences a shot. They are just as cool. 😎 But as you said, the two different areas of inquiry address different aspects of life/reality, and should be viewed as such.
